These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ostrinus Rentals website and your engagement with us for equipment rental enquiries and services. By using our website or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Ostrinus Rentals provides rental of aerial work platforms, cranes, forklifts and related equipment to business customers across India. Information on our website about equipment, working heights, lifting capacities and specifications is provided for general guidance. Exact specifications, availability and pricing are confirmed at the time of quotation.
Any quotation we provide is an invitation to proceed and is not a binding contract until confirmed in writing by both parties. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them, and are subject to equipment availability at the time of confirmation. Pricing may vary based on rental duration, location, delivery, operator requirements and site conditions.
Every confirmed rental is governed by a separate Rental Agreement signed by both parties. That agreement sets out the specific commercial and operational terms, including rental period, rates, security deposit, delivery and collection, insurance, permitted use, and responsibility for loss or damage. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement prevails.
When you hire equipment from us, you agree to:
Delivery and collection times are estimates and we will make reasonable efforts to meet them. You are responsible for ensuring the site is ready and accessible for delivery, operation and collection. Equipment should be returned in the same condition it was supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.
Rental charges, deposits, taxes and any additional costs are set out in the quote and Rental Agreement. Payment terms are as stated in those documents. Late payment, extended use beyond the agreed period, or additional services may attract further charges.
Safety is central to how we operate. All equipment is inspected before dispatch. You are responsible for safe use on site once the equipment is delivered, including following all operating instructions and safety guidance and ensuring a safe working environment for operators and other personnel.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ostrinus Rentals is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption or project delay, arising from the use of our website, equipment or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. The specific allocation of risk, insurance and liability for each rental is set out in the Rental Agreement.
Liability, indemnity and insurance clauses carry significant legal and financial consequences. Have these reviewed and finalised by your lawyer and insurer.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of Ostrinus Rentals or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content without our written permission.
